| Hey everyone, First off, I posted this over on Facebook in the "Nissan 300ZX Z32 Drivers" in case you want to follow it there as well. I'm trying to see how much interest there is for Z32 owners who want custom headlamp lenses to replace the glass covers. This modification will help produce much better light output over the oem glass and will be extremely beneficial for persons who want to do (or have done) an HID projector retrofit. All feedback will be helpful and I'm looking to start the project at the beginning of the new year. The new lens will be made out of a special urethane which will be the best for our application. I've talked to a scientist who's done this for over 30-40yrs and does custom classic motorcycle headlight restoration and also restores vintage cares like old Jaguars. I'm still in the process of working out the details with him for this project, but I know that I will be making at least one set for myself. I will be eliminating the nipples that came from the factory and I may or may not eliminate the etched lines. The lines actually help to direct the light and disperse it evenly across the lens and I plan on keeping them for my set. Let me know what you think and if you have any recommendations.
